Pregnant mothers in Pakistan often move between nurses, LHVs, midwives, CMWs, and CNAs without a shared record of care. Paper charts stay at one clinic, family members lack a safe way to follow the pregnancy week, and reaching a trusted professional quickly usually means hunting for phone numbers.

Pregnancy notes and care instructions scattered across clinics with no portable parent identity.

Mothers needed bilingual (English / Urdu) guidance for week, EDD, and milestones without clinical jargon.

Family sharing had to expose only safe summary data — never full clinical notes.

Healthcare professionals needed a simple workspace aligned to midwifery care standards (MSDS).

The Engineering Solution

A Calm, Installable Maternal Care Hub for Mothers and Practitioners

GynaeHub is a Next.js and React platform with a shadcn/ui design system that links mothers to nearby nurses, LHVs, midwives, CMWs, and CNAs. CNIC-linked records keep care portable, while QR and private links let families follow week and EDD without exposing clinical notes.

Key Architectural Decisions & Engineering Highlights

Built a Next.js App Router experience with React Server Components for fast public discovery and authenticated care workspaces.
Composed a calm, accessible UI with shadcn/ui and Tailwind so mothers and clinicians can use the product on phone or tablet.
Modeled CNIC as the unique parent identity so pregnancy records and care instructions travel with the mother across clinics.
Separated public profiles (WhatsApp / email contact) from private clinical notes, with family QR links limited to week, EDD, and milestones.
